Kang Baek-ho on the court… DB Choi Seung-bin’s big goal: “I want to play more”

After completing his first professional season, Choi Seung-bin is approaching the off-season with even more determination.

The Wonju DB ProMy Basketball Team will hold a training camp in Yangyang from July 29 to August 7.

DB, which has been training for basic physical fitness in its hometown of Wonju, is focusing on solidifying its foundation with the 토토사이트 순위 Yangyang training camp. All domestic players participated in the training camp.

Choi Seung-bin, who played last season as a rookie, was also busy completing the training program with the seniors. Choi Seung-bin, who joined the DB last year, is a strong and aggressive forward from Konkuk University.

“It’s definitely different from college,” said Choi, who is playing his first offseason as a professional. It’s so new and hard. It’s not easy because I’m playing a lot more. Still, I’m learning a lot,” he laughed.

DB also had an afternoon court training to refine their defense. Coach Kim Joo-sung, one of the KBL’s top legends, personally pointed out the players’ posture in detail.

Choi Seung-bin responded positively, saying, “He explains every single move in detail, so it’s easy on the ears and I think he teaches well, so I have a lot to learn.”

Last season, DB won the regular season wire-to-wire on the strength of a solid defense. Given the competitiveness of the 3-4 position players, it was difficult for the rookie to get much playing time. He only played one regular season game for the first team.

“Of course, I wanted to play (laughs), but I knew I couldn’t play because I wasn’t good enough, so I watched more outside and learned what my older brothers were doing and worked out more in the remaining time,” Choi recalls.

“My older brothers (Kang) Sang-jae and (Kim) Jong-kyu would talk to me a lot to help me focus more during training. Sangjae is much taller than me, but he’s still very good at basketball, so I watch a lot of his plays to learn from him.”

At 192 centimeters, Choi is not the tallest player in his position. To make his presence felt, he emphasized strengthening his defense and shooting.

“I want to strengthen my defense a lot in training because I’m definitely not the tallest player in the pros, and my shooting is basically something that I practice a lot so that I can get better and get more opportunities,” Choi explained.

He also said, “I have a desire to play more games than last year, and to do that, it’s important to play with passion, focus, and determination.”

Choi Seung-bin was nicknamed ‘Baekho Kang’ in college and was very popular. He has a lot of energy that he can exude when he steps onto the court. He expressed his ambition to continue training while waiting for his chance.

“It’s true that I haven’t shown much of myself yet, but I’m going to keep working hard and try to show more if I get playing time,” Choi said.
