Motown’s newest casino, the Greek Town Casino, officially opened to enthusiastic gamblers and loud cheers on Friday.

Detroit Mayor Dennis Archer cut ribbons and officially opened a $200 million Greek town casino in front of about 3,000 customers. Many of them waited hours to be the first to enter the city on a chilly, windy night.

The 75,000-square-foot Mediterranean-themed casino offers 2,400 slot machines and 104 table games. It also offers three restaurants, five lounges, and a flower shop. The Greek Town Casino features the largest stage of any Detroit casino in the Apollo Lounge, allowing you to enjoy both headlines and local celebrities and watch special events on a 10-foot-by-10-foot projection screen. 파워볼게임

Here’s another item you don’t often see in the gambling den of the Gristown Casino: the windows. The non-smoking room has 10 tables, 90 slot machines, and a large skylight, with two gaming areas and an adjacent bar and lounge area decorated with large windows.

Owned by the Saul St. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians and a group of Detroit investors, the Greek Town Casino is located opposite the Athens Suite Hotel & Conference Center in the Detroit Greek Town Tourist Area. The casino’s opening is the third in Detroit to open, following the MGM Grand Detroit and Motor City casinos.
