K League 1 Jeonbuk to recruit national defender Kim Tae-hwan
Defender Kim Tae-hwan, who is participating in the 2023 Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Qatar Asian Cup as a member of the national soccer team led by head coach Jurgen Klinsmann, will wear a professional soccer K League 1 Jeonbuk Hyundai’s uniform.
Jeonbuk announced on the 14th that it has recruited Kim Tae-hwan, a right fullback.
Kim Tae-hwan, who made his professional debut with FC Seoul in 2010, is a veteran defender who played in 398 K-League games and 25 A-matches (between national teams) through Seongnam FC and Ulsan Hyundai.
His strength is his fast speed and daredevil dribbling enough to earn the nickname “Cheetah,” and he is ranked 11th in the K League with 55 assists (21 points) in total through overlapping and low and strong crosses.
Jeonbuk recruited Kim Tae-hwan with the aim of recapturing the K-League champion, adding, “We will show the strongest defense in the K-League in the 2024 season with both left and right fullbacks for the national team.”
“I will prove that Jeonbuk’s judgment of handing me a green uniform is the best decision,” Kim Tae-hwan said. “Jeonbuk recognizes my value and my choice of Jeonbuk will be the best collaboration in the K-League this season.”
Meanwhile, Jeonbuk is preparing for the 2024 season by recruiting Thiago, who ranked second in scoring last season, striker Jeon Byung-kwan, defender Lee Jae-ik, and midfielders Kwon Chang-hoon and Lee Young-jae. 사설토토
