MSPT returns to Midwest in July
For the second time in Season 8, MPST will head to the potawatomi hotel & casino in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This time, it will host a $350 buy-in, $200,000 guaranteed MSPT local event at the downtown venue.
From July 17-21, a series of satellites will be deployed to the local event, which will begin on June 10. The first of the three flights will take place on Thursday, July 18, at 5 p.m. with Day 1A. Day 1 will be conducted in 15 stages. Day 1B and Day 1C on Friday and Saturday will begin at 5 p.m. and 2 p.m., respectively, and will also be in 15 stages. Athletes who advance to Day 2 on the previous flight will not be eligible to run on the subsequent flights. The rest of the athletes in each flight will combine at 11 a.m. on Sunday morning and play until they are crowned champions.
MSPT hosted five previous local events in Photowatomi. The first was in January 2016, when Oscar Arndt won first place in 904 entries, receiving a $58,964 first-place prize. Six months later, it was Vinh Tran who conquered the then-record field of 1,169 entries to receive $49,944.
In January 2017, Craig Trost awarded $63,252 to 1,228 participants, the largest tournament of the time, held in Wisconsin. However, in July 2017, 1,658 participants in the MSPT Regional felt, making it the largest poker tournament ever held in Wisconsin. The tournament ended in a gap between Matthew Vignali ($70,240) and Alexander Hill ($60,000). 파워볼사이트 추천
And in July 2018, the race drew exactly the same number of runners, tying the state record of 1,658, with Eric Barnes of Kenosha, Wisconsin, running away with $70,151 after a three-way race.
The sixth and newest MSPT Potawatomi Regional at the venue will be the 32nd Regional event since its launch in early 2015. The Regional event was designed to give players the opportunity to play MSPT’s lauded “Chainsaw Approved” $1,100 main event structure for a lower price.
