Game Control Board Fines Unapproved Poker Tournament At Pennsylvania Casino

The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) today fined Mountain View Subred Racing Association, LLC, the operator of the Hollywood Casino at Penn National Racecourse in Doppin County, $20,000 for conducting a poker tournament that was not approved by the agency.

The fine is the result of board approval in a public meeting on the consent agreement between the PGCB Office of Enforcement Advisers and Mountain View Thoroughbred Racing Association, LLC.

The PA Gaming Act mandates the PGCB to submit schematics for table game staffing plans, tournament schedules, dealer training programs and game guides, table layouts, signboards and equipment, to be approved by the executive director. It did not do so for the four poker tournaments held at the Hollywood Casino on Pennsylvania National Racecourse in 2019.

The next meeting of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board will take place on Wednesday, February 12, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. in the public hearing room of the PGCB located on the second floor of the Strawberry Square Complex in Harrisburg. 바다이야기
