South Korea national soccer team head coach Jürgen Klinsmann recalls injured Hwang Hee-chan (Wolverhampton), Cho Kyu-sung (Mitwillan), and Oh Hyun-gyu (Celtic) as the team looks for its first win in September A matches.

The Korea Football Association (KFA) on Monday announced Jürgen Klinsmann’s squad for its upcoming European A matches in September.

Klinsmann’s side will play two European matches next month, facing Wales at Cardiff City Stadium in Wales on Sept. 8 at 3:45 a.m. ET and Saudi Arabia at St. James’ Park in Newcastle, England on Sept. 13 at 1:30 p.m. ET.

With a string of injuries to the national team’s main strikers playing in Europe, Klinsmann has named most of them to the squad, with the exception of Lee Kang-in (Paris Saint-Germain), who pulled a thigh muscle.

Similarly, Cho Kyu-sung (Mitwillan), who injured his thigh, Oh Hyun-gyu (Celtic), who injured his calf, and Hwang Hee-chan (Wolverhampton), who suffered a recurrence of a nagging hamstring (muscle in the back of the thigh) injury, were all called up to lead the national team’s attack alongside Son Heung-min (Tottenham) and Hwang Eui-jo (Nottingham).

“Lee Kang-in’s injury is a setback for us,” said Klinsmann, “and I hope he recovers quickly so he can fit in with the team and be ready for the Hangzhou Asian Games. Fortunately, in the case of Cho Kyu-sung and Hwang Hee-chan, we have continued to communicate with their teams and have determined that they are in good shape to join this call-up, so we have included them in the roster.”

“Hwang Hee-chan underwent a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan and was cleared to play this weekend. Oh Hyun-kyu and Cho Kyu-kyu are also included in the roster as they will be in good enough shape to participate during the A match.”

Left fullback Kim Jin-soo (Jeonbuk Hyundai) and goalkeeper Song Bum-geun (Shonan Belmare) were also ruled out due to injury, while Kim Jun-hong (Gimcheon Commerce), Kim Ji-soo (Brentford) and Lee Sun-min (Gwangju FC) were named to the A squad for the first time.

Goalkeeper Kim Jun-hong and central defender Kim Ji-soo played a key role in Korea’s run to the quarterfinals at the FIFA U-20 World Cup in June.

Lee Soon-min is a key midfielder for Gwangju FC, who have been one of the ‘up-and-coming teams’ in the K League this year, and earned his first taegeuk at the age of 29.

Lee Dong-kyung (Ulsan Hyundai) and Kang Sang-woo (Beijing Guoan) returned to the national team in January last year after a year and eight months away from the team’s final Asian qualifier for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Yang Hyun-joon (Celtic), who was called up for two trials ahead of last year’s World Cup but did not play, was also called up and given the opportunity to make his A-match debut.

Klinsmann made some “concessions” to the Asian Games squad due to overlapping call-ups.

As a result, Baek Seung-ho, Song Min-kyu (Jeonbuk Hyundai), Jung Woo-young (Stuttgart) and Park Kyu-hyun (Dresden) will be able to join Hwang Sun-hong’s Asian Games squad in Changwon from the start.

Klinsmann broke with Korean soccer’s tradition of holding a press conference to announce the A-team roster, 카지노사이트킴 instead releasing a press release to announce the selection.
