Queen Baton Rouge and DraftKings Sportsbook celebrate grand opening
Queen Baton Rouge and DraftKings Sportsbook officially opened tonight at 9 p.m., welcoming more than 1,000 guests who lined up outdoors to Baton Rouge for the first time. Ahead of the opening, there were ribbon-cutting and welcoming remarks from Terry Downey, CEO and President of The Queen Gaming & Entertainment, Mayor Sharon Western Broome of Baton Rouge, General Manager of Queen Baton Rouge, Matthew Shehardy, former LSU Tiger and NFL quarterback Matt Flynn, and Ronnie S. Jones, President of the Louisiana Gaming Control Board.
The ribbon was officially cut tonight by Lydia Chenebert, a 30-year employee of Queen Baton Rouge, formerly the Hollywood Casino Baton Rouge, a historic river boat casino. Queen Baton Rouge, an $85 million redevelopment, unveiled its brand-new first land casino.
Following ribbon cutting to match playlists that aired on Talk 107.3 and 98.1 FM, a spectacular drone light show immediately followed. The drone revealed all the incredible destinations found within the building, with a countdown revealing the logo of Queen Baton Rouge: DraftKings Sportsbook, 1717, a dynamic bar and restaurant with a stage for live entertainment, Big Chicken, 3 Works Noodle Bar and Capitol Coffee Baton Rouge, and a dedicated smoking patio, LIT Casino & Bar.
Soon after the Queen opened the door, Flynn led the ribbon-cutting ceremony and put the ceremonial first bet inside the DraftKings sportsbook. 슬롯사이트
